Joe Wills brings years of business experience and community service. ?My family and I have come to really appreciate the spirit and loveliness of these islands since moving here six years ago,? Mr. Wills serves as a trustee on the boards of Coastal Georgia Historical Society and Frederica Academy. He is also an officer in the Golden Isles baillage of the Chaines de Rotisseurs, a charter member of the St Simons Kiwanis Club, an alumnus of Leadership Glynn, and has served on the Golden Isles Visitors Bureau. His professional associations include the Glynn County Board of Realtors, Club Manager?s Association of America, National Club Association, and Southern Innkeepers.

Formerly a vice president with Sea Island Company, Joe Wills has been in hospitality leadership roles for most of his career. The Florida native holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Augusta College, and from 1983 through 1995 he was Assistant General Manager of Augusta National Golf Club. While living in Augusta, he served terms as Elder and Deacon at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church and was active in both the area soup kitchen and food bank. Joe and his wife, Stacy, make their home on St Simons Island and have three sons: Patrick, Timothy and David. They are all members of St. Simons Presbyterian Church.
